My best friend planned something for my birthday this weekend and tonight I’m going to earn my dinner tonight. Boxing at 5:45 and then jump straight into Body Pump at 6:30. Even though initially when I passed by the Boxing class it seemed like everyone in there at that moment hated their life because of the arduous class, after taking it.. It is EXHAUSTING, but after it I have so much energy and I know it’s doing me good if I literally sweat everywhere. Highly recommend it !

Happy 22nd Birthday to me !
Although I couldn’t give myself my 1GW as a birthday present, I’m more than happy with the progress I have made to get there. And just because it is my birthday and I completely forgot and I’m working double shifts today, I’m still going to squeeze in some cardio and lifts.

EDIT: I just have to pinch in how grateful I am to just be alive. If life went any different I wouldn’t have a boss that would remember my birthday and sing to me, I wouldn’t have children and parents that I have grown close to send a voice clip of them singing Happy Birthday to me, I wouldn’t have friends who went out of their way to spend hundred just so I can have a great weekend. I love you all !

Just say the quote, “If it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you” on my feed. Now I’m going to add that extra 2.5pounds on my bar today at Body Conditioning class !
EDIT: 2 hours later…I loved it! Going to stay at two tens on both side of the bars and bring it up another 2.5 in 1-2 weeks. I love my body !

I really did not feel like working out today ! I was really pumped the weekend because I rested those days, but Monday comes and I’m sitting on the couch with my girl friends and we all stare at each other like…Blehhh…
But great things about friends who work out with you is that once, the ball gets rolling your body doesn’t stop and an hour and a half later… Work out complete and not regretted. I am so thankful that I got that extra push tonight.

So, after my first fitness assessment, I have come to find that I have 40.2% body fat. But it’s okay. I’m going to cut that in half in the next 9 months and I even signed up for personal training.
I’m still sore from the core trainings my personal trainer had me go through. I loved it.
I love the feeling of my body tightening, breathing, destroying fat.

My mother said that she has seen progress in my body today. She said that I’ve been looking beautiful and this coming from someone who has called me fat my entire life.
One down, the world and myself to go.
Taking Boxing for the first time tonight. I’m ready !

DIET. DIET. DIET. I have grown to dislike and do not believe in the word anymore. When you have fallen off the track and you need to lose a few extra pounds by eating healthy and exercising, that’s not dieting! It’s just you being lazy and not doing what’s best for your body by putting an ugly word on it. Don’t make yourself a statistic. In fact I really believe by telling yourself that you are on a diet, demeans your optimism into working out and eating healthy, and neither isn’t bad after you find what works for you. Don’t call it a diet.
Call it love for yourself, call it dedication, call it a lifestyle.

After countless attempts to try and be fit and healthy, I think I have finally mustered enough willpower to kick myself in the ass. Forgive me for my long break, but starting today, I am going to be revamping this tumblr and updating constantly.
It’s amazing what a couple of pounds can do to you. It’s a snowball effect, once you get started on this you don’t want to give up and the pounds drop and you got it. You’re doing it.
STARTING WEIGHT: 224pounds
CURRENT WEIGHT: 212.6pounds
I want to put out before and after pictures once I hit my first goal weight. 200 pounds baby.
